In 1988 David became the first photographer in the UK to win the Gold award at the BIPP National awards for 3 years on the run.

In 1993 Suzanne & David became the first (and as far as we know only) husband and wife in the UK to both be awarded their Craftsmanship of The Guild of Wedding Photographers UK.
