Information

Andy and I have been photographing weddings together since 2008 and have photographed over 75 weddings, with 25 in 2014. We have become best friends and enjoy bringing our friendship and relaxed personalities to every wedding we photograph.

We are both full time professionals and run our own photography businesses. Andy has a studio in Worthing where he also specialises in family and baby photo shoots while I also specialise in equestrian photography. But for us, weddings are what we enjoy photographing the most.

We want you to feel like we are more like friends taking photographs rather than strict professionals. Your package will include a pre-wedding photo shoot and together we will discuss your day in detail whilst visiting your ceremony and reception venues.

Maintaining a professional yet informal presence allows us to capture both traditional and unstaged photos, especially natural smiles, tears of joy and moments that will never grow old of being retold.

We are pleased to say the most regular comment from our couples, their parents and their guests at the end of the day is...

"Thank you for being so easy to work with, for making us laugh and for listening to our wishes."

Frequently Asked Questions

These are some questions I often get asked and if you have any other queries regarding any aspect of what Andy and I offer, my packages, the products, or anything else, please do feel free to get in touch.

How did you and Andy start working together?

Andy and I first met when he employed me to work at a printing lab he was the manager of eight years ago! I worked their for the Summer and then did my A-Levels, after which we got back in touch and starting working together.

Why do you offer two photographers rather than one?

Having two photographers at your wedding provides flexibility, two different perspectives and styles of photographs, a more relaxed environment as we can work separately and do more in a shorter space of time, 'beforehand' photos of both yourself and your partner, and a lot more photos!

What equipment do you use and do you have back up cameras?

We both use Canon 5D Mark 2 cameras with a range of Canon ‘L’ lenses from ultra wide angles to telephotos. We both carry two camera bodies with us at all times so if any problems occur we immediately have a spare camera.

Can we give you a list of 'special requests'?

We're one step ahead of you here! Unlike most photographers we encourage you to tell us what you want, to discuss where we'll take what photos, and to do as many or as few staged/group photos as you wish. This is mainly so you can be relaxed in the knowledge we're taking what you want, and we know what you are expecting. I'll give you our 'Traditional Wedding Photographs' List so you can tick which photos you do and do not want and this ranges from 'Bride having her make up done', to 'Kissing under the Church doorway as you take your first steps as a married couple', to 'Bridesmaids/Groomsmen with their partner (couple portraits).

You are also invited to add to this list with your own special requests, such as 'Groom with the cat', and it's advised that you also ask your family and friends if they have any requests as we're happy to take these.

Are you both insured?

Both Andy and I are both insured and are happy to show you our paperwork on request.

Do you have any tips for us?

Our biggest tip for you is to relax and enjoy every moment of your day. A lot of couples tell us how fast they felt the day went.

Keeping the plans for the day simple are very important we feel. Ask friends who have already married for their advice, employ suppliers who you get along with and make sure everyone in the wedding party knows their duties so you can enjoy your day.

How much time do you need for group and couple photos?

Ideally we like to have an hour and a half to do all of your group photographs, to organise some fun photos with your wedding party and to take a range of portraits of you and your new husband or wife.

A complete list of traditional group photos will typically take 20-30 if everyone is co-operating and we will normally organise these photos with the help of the groomsmen.

Do you take table photos?

We like to have a photographic record of every aspect of your day so will make sure to take photos of table decorations, the venues, key features, flowers etc. During the meal we will take snap shots of people laughing and chatting away, but not while they are eating.

What can I do to ensure I get beautiful photos?

Be yourself, do not be worried about our cameras, and enjoy your day. We are here to photograph your happiness, the love you have for your partner and the celebrations with your guests.

Do you accept credit cards?

I can accept all of the major credit and debit cards, including American Express.

Do you need us to provide you with food and drinks?

We do ask that we are fed and watered during the day, purely because we will be constantly photographing (often in the background). Saying this though, we like to maintain a professional appearance so won't scoff down your canapes or drink alcohol, and a meal away from your guests would be much appreciated, so we can relax and reflect on how the day is going.

“We really did have so much fun on the day with you both, but also felt you blended into the background to take the more natural shots brilliantly.

I would recommend you both to anyone as you're both charming, friendly and above all fantastic photographers.”
